Thank you, kind taxi driver!

(Warning: This is a post of me ranting, kindly proceed reading if you wish to read)

I was so careless this morning.

I waited forever for a taxi, so I could go to work today. It's a Friday, so I went out early as I know this day is always a busy day, and in addition, it was raining heavily. So, it was really difficult for a taxi to co-operate with me (-__-);

My mind was so clouded today, because early this morning, papa had to discuss matters while I was having my breakfast and throughout the whole morning, my mind kept feeling unsettled.

I waited a whole hour for a taxi who could send me to work but I was fortunate that the driver was a kind, gentle old man. My mind was still so troubled, so I was just staring blankly at the road as he was driving and I was running late for work, even though I got out early

(-__-   );

I knew I had my phone with me because I was always checking on the time, had it rested on my lap..I guess my mind just drifted away somewhere else.

So, as I reached my work place, I rushed out of the car cos' I was already 10 minutes late for work :(

I was rummaging through my bag for my phone and realized it has gone missing, my heart just broke and I got really worried. Immediately, I used the office phone to call my phone several times, but nobody picked up. What I knew was, the driver was a really nice and sweet person, he made sure my journey to work today will be fine.

So, I hoped and prayed that since I know he is a kind and nice person, he'll pick the phone up.

Then, after I made my 7th or 8th call, a lady picked my phone up and told me the driver didn't know how to pick my call up, I didn't blame him as he's an old man and new technology can be so cruel to old folks like him.

She told me where they were and I ran for the life of me to go claim my phone back. I found them, thanked them, nodded and bowed to them in gratefulness.

There was a quick moment when I was all sad and worried earlier, I thought of all the things I've saved in my phone. My personal data, my bank details, my work stuff, my contacts, my best friend's hen party/bridal shower to do list and etc.

But I thought that this is just a phone and that I have to accept that this is fate.

Feeling so relieved and thanking the Creator now. I am so glad that I got my phone back. Thank you, mister taxi driver and miss lady, for being my bright sunshines today!

Also, as I was typing this down, I received my dresses from my online shopping a couple weeks ago!

Yay.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

xo,
Tiff
